• Managing operational purchasing across the entire purchasing volume
• Development and implementation of purchasing and supply strategies in coordination with the specialist organization
• Negotiating long-term framework agreements with local suppliers
• Maintaining supplier relationships and carrying out supplier audits, analyzing and monitoring the purchasing market
• Carrying out purchasing control: statistics, price analyses, monitoring delivery times, checking qualitative characteristics
• Identification of savings potential in all company-related areas.
• Identification and analysis of new national procurement markets and implementation of tenders, price and contract negotiations with a sustainable increase in earnings to optimize purchasing conditions
• Continuous further development and documentation of processes and systems in the subordinate purchasing department
• Carrying out cost and scenario analyses as well as benchmarking.
• Determining the quantity and timing of deliveries
• Ensures compliance with occupational safety and quality standards as well as environmental targets and cleanliness in the area

• Experience in purchasing mechanics / electromechanics in an international environment
• Independent, precise way of working as well as analytical and strategic thinking
• Professional experience as a strategic buyer or purchasing manager
• Familiarity with procurement and supplier management and the associated software
• Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Ability to negotiate and maintain network relationships
• Familiarity with numbers and the collection, analysis and interpretation of data
• Sound judgement with the ability to make good decisions
